Prepare the closing

The template has two open questions and one rating question. Ask students for short responses focused on the lesson.

1. Use the Exit ticket template and include the lesson topic in the event title.
2. Review the three questions. Be ready to explain that the readiness rating is the student’s own assessment.
3. Save the draft and reserve a few minutes at the end of the lesson for responses.

Close with three questions

You do not need to request names or student numbers. Keep the responses focused on learning and uncertainty.

1. Start the live session and share the code, QR code or link.
2. First ask for one thing learned, then for a remaining uncertainty. Hiding results does not stop response collection.
3. Ask students to rate their readiness for the next lesson in the final question. End the session when responses are complete.

Review for the next lesson

Read the open answers and identify recurring uncertainties yourself. Consider the rating average alongside the written responses.

1. Select the correct session in Report and review both open questions.
2. Note one or two points you want to explain again in the next lesson.
3. Use Excel or CSV for spreadsheet analysis, or PDF or PNG for a results summary. Review the file before sharing.
