Prepare before the lesson

This pack contains joining instructions, a multiple-choice question and an open question. The suggested timing can be adjusted for your group.

1. Add the Seminar kickoff template to your account and name the event after your lesson.
2. Check the three familiarity options: New to me, Some familiarity and Practical experience.
3. If needed, adapt the seminar wording in the final question to your lesson. Save the draft and try the participant preview.

Run the opening

Familiarity is a self-assessment rather than a knowledge-test result. The open answers provide a starting point for discussing expectations.

1. Start the event and show the code, QR code or joining link. Participants do not need accounts.
2. Advance to the familiarity question and allow time to respond. Reveal the results and review the distribution together.
3. Show the open question. Read a few questions with the group and identify topics you can address during the lesson.

After the responses

Use the responses to inform the lesson. Limited prior familiarity does not mean a participant cannot learn the topic.

1. Explain which expectations you will address in this lesson and which may need a later session.
2. End the session and review the question summaries through Report.
3. Download Excel or CSV if you need a record. Check open answers for personal information before sharing.
